Floristine Tigner worked in the Douglas County School System for 1 year as a 4th-grade math and science teacher before coming to Carroll County Schools. Ms. Tigner teaches 5th-grade math at Villa Rica Elementary School (VRE). She has been teaching for 4 years. This is her 3rd year at VRE. She is a Tennessee native who resides in Carrollton, GA where she attended the University of West Georgia (UWG). Ms. Tigner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education in the fall of 2016 and her Master's Degree in Education in the spring of 2020. She is currently enrolled in the graduate program at UWG to receive her Specialist in Education. She truly enjoys her wildcat family!
