Mrs. Shippey graduated from Shorter University in Rome, Georgia in 2009 with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education.

Mrs.Shippey started her teaching career in Cobb County at Riverside Elementary School, which is now City View Elementary.  She began her Carroll County teaching career here at Villa Rica Elementary in 2018.

Mrs. Shippey lives in Bremen, Georgia with her husband Austin of 14 years and her three wonderful children.

Mrs. Shippey loves teaching and loves her students at VRE.
