Hello VR family! My name is Beth Little and I am excited to serve as the Assistant Principal at Villa Rica Elementary for the 2019-2020 school year! This is my 22nd year in education. I previously taught at Whitesburg Elementary for 19 years in various grade levels - Pre-K, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. When I moved to Sharp Creek Elementary, I served one year as the Gifted teacher and this past year in administration as the MTSS Specialist. I am currently the assistant principal at Villa Rica Elementary School.
I grew up in Carroll County and graduated from Mt. Zion High School. Then, I attended Atlanta Christian College (now Point University) where I received my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education. My Master's degree in Educational Leadership was received from University of West Georgia. Within the last two years, I have received an endorsement in Gifted Education and an MTSS endorsement.
My husband, Clay, and I celebrated our 10th anniversary this year. Our son, Carter, is four and is a Pre-K student here at Villa Rica Elementary! Our family also fosters children through Carroll County DFACS.
In my spare time, I sing on a praise team at Bethany Christian Church and love to travel, read, and spend time with my family!
