Mrs. Sheats graduated from Tennessee Temple University in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Later she attended Central Michigan University and earned a Master's degree in Elementary Education Curriculum. Mrs. Sheats then attended Piedmont University and graduated in 2010 with a specialist degree in Curriculum Instruction. She has also earned an endorsement for Reading.
Mrs.Sheats started her teaching career at Villa Rica Primary School, which is now Glanton Hindsman. Transfering to Villa Rica Elementary in 2005 she has remained here for the last 12 years. Mrs. Sheats loves teaching and especially loves teaching children in Villa Rica Elementary.
She looks forward to many more years of teaching the brilliant students at VRE.
